Nina Arianda (born Nina Arianda Matijcio; September 18, 1984) is an American film, stage and television actress. She won a Tony Award for Best Lead Actress in a Play in 2012 for ''Venus in Fur''. She was also nominated for another Tony for her performance in ''Born Yesterday''.
==Early life and education==
Arianda was born in Manhattan, New York, to a Ukrainian family.〔("Nina Arianda Is Fueling Fantasies" ) by Andrew Goldman, ''The New York Times'' (February 17, 2012)〕 She grew up in Clifton, New Jersey and Heidelberg, Germany.〔
She received a Bachelor of Arts from Eugene Lang College The New School for Liberal Arts, the liberal arts college within The New School university, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Acting Program in 2009.〔(Tisch alumni nominations at the 2011 Tony Awards ), tisch.nyu.edu; accessed July 28, 2015.〕
